Hi all,
I'm in the last miles of the cleaning phase on two cars, a Ford E350 diesel and a BMW 316 gasser.
My wife drives the BMW, and last time she filled it up, the milage had gone up from abt. 19 to 27! We cannot recall that the mileage on that car EVER have been over 23, even when it was quite new, it has been quite steady at 19-20 mpg.
I took pictures of the valve train etc. before the cleaning started, but SILLY ME did not check the compression,
arrghh! I'll take a reading right before the rinse phase, but it must have improved since the cleaning started, causing better mileage.
I can barely wait to pull those covers and look inside.. I'll post the pictures and comp. rates after the cleaning cycle.
